Dr. Sujit Bhattacharya is a Scientist at National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (NISTADS), in New Delhi, India.

Dr. Bhattacharya is the principal author of the report "Indian Patent Activity in International and domestic Patent System : Contemporary Scenario".

He is co-leading the study "Innovation Activities in India's Software Industry: Status Quo and Emerging Trends", being conducted in a joint project by TIM/TUHH and NISTADS. Other projects, based on this pilot study, are likely to be announced soon.
